Vimal Pande has been with Chetana-Vikas since 38 years.
Educated till 10th standard, she has risen from the ranks and is now regularly reaching more than 1,000 women in 38 villages through Self-Help Groups, and Federation activities. Has special interest in establishing rural women as entrepreneurs.
This experienced Field officer feels that her her own development as an empowered and aware person at CHETANA-VIKAS has contributed to positive change in her own family members. This changed attitude towards women has led the family to fully support her daughter who learnt photography, has established her own photo studio in a nearby town, which is path-breaking in the society, esp. rural.
