Sheetal Bhure is Bachelor of Legislative Law, Master of Social Work & M Phil in Peace & Non-Violence. Since 4 years at CHETANA-VIKAS. 

She handles legal issues arising out of the web of social complications, faced by rural women. Making people legally literate is one important aspect of work.  The unique structure of Counselling at CHETANA-VIKAS, envisages counselling and resolving starting right at the grassroots and only the most complicated come till the counselling centres.

Sheetal works with village women to make this possible and many cases are solved through ‘Friendship Centres’ at village level. She handles four such Centres.   

Handles legal work of the Institute and is the Chairperson of the Committee Constituted for addressing “preventing sexual harassment at work place’ at CHETANA-VIKAS.  

Working for rural self-governance is another area of her work. 

Working here does not feel like “work” and is more like a family, she feels as CHETANA-VIKAS puts time and energy for personal development and growth along with professional development.
