Sangita Wankhede is a Master of Social work Special in Community development. She is a senior member and co-handles a counselling centre run at District Administrative Centre (Zilla Parishad), and a sub Centre. She has undergone Special trainings on Domestic Violence Act, Prevention of sexual harassment at work place and self-governance at village level.
She is with CHETANA-VIKAS since past 13 years and has been invited as a member on committees in four different Government departments. They are the mandatory committees formed for prevention of sexual harassment at work place.
This experience has added a new dimension to her counselling skills, as these cases are entirely of a different genre.
