Sandhya Satpute after 15 years at CHETANA-VIKAS is one of the senior most Family Counsellor. It is during this tenure that she has seen the number of counselling centres run by CHETANA-VIKAS rise from 5 to 11 and of full time counselors rise from two to six. They are ably aided by 12 village level counselors.
Sandhya handles one district level FCC and two sub Centres.
From modest beginnings, She has found tenets and concepts of human relations to be entirely solvable if one is willing and patient; This has benefited her own life and her family also look up to her for any meaningful and important decisions. She credits CHETANA-VIKAS for the rock support for her decision of adopting and raising a child which has been a smooth process in the family, especially due to the gained knowledge and awareness.
Selected as a Committee Member in two co-ed colleges for “Prevention of sexual harassment at work place”.
